O Cônsul

Dr.ssa BERTI Eugenia Tiziana

Dichiarazione insussistenza cause di incompatibilitá Eugenia Tiziana Berti – CG Curitiba (Brasile)

Curriculum Vitae

A minha formação é jurídica e humanista.

I was born in 1962 in an Italian town called Frosinone, in a region called Ciociaria. A curiosity is that the region takes its name from the type of foot wear the sheep herders used to wear on the hilly mountains south of Rome, the ciocie. I have three lovely daughters and am married to a Swedish man since 1992.

My education is legal and humanistic. I have been in the service of the Italian state for over thirty years. Currently, as the Italian consul general in Curitiba, I carry out consular services for compatriots present in the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina, where there is an enormous Italian-Brazilian cultural and industrial heritage, capable of creating a virtuous circle between Italy and these two territories, especially for the new generations.

One of my main objectives is to strengthen the link between the younger generation of Italians living in Brazil with Italy, already strong from a cultural heritage but in need to be strengthened with proficiency in the Italian language. With a better knowledge of the Italian language a door is opened not only for work and culture but also as an investment to become a part of a modern and prestigious Italian community.

Before arriving in Brazil, I lived in Sweden, Turkey, England and the United Arab Emirates, where I was given the opportunity to get to know different cultures and languages. Through this curiosity and hard work I was able to cross borders and enriching my horizons far beyond the imaginable.
